Bell Tower

Zone type: Dungeon · Levels 66–69

Nine floors of timber and a bell at the top that only rings when it wants to. It is the surviving twin of the burnt tower: this is where the rainbow Pokémon used to alight, before humankind gave it reasons to leave. The sages climb every morning to sweep steps nobody treads, just in case it comes back. They have been sweeping for a century and a half.

Ten boards, but the floor gives way and you climb two at a time: only where you stop counts, and whatever is in between burns. The fire climbs behind you up to the roof, where you can catch Ho-Oh.
