Cianwood City

An island of bare rock to the west, with no decent harbour and no road: you swim there or you don't get there. It lives off two things — the pharmacy that makes remedies you cannot get on the mainland, and Chuck's gym, where he trains on the beach with waterfalls landing on his head because the sea, he says, takes no excuses. His wife, from the doorway, holds that neither does she.
